I wished I had a cat but me and my sisters are guilty of the deaths of 2 turtles, 1 torquoise and 2 guinea pigs so naturally my mother wouldn’t allow such a thing. That was ages ago though so she might reconsider, nyahahaha (=｀ω´=)

So, has anyone noticed the way I’m holding my camera?
Yes, I wrap the neck strap of my camera around my wrist instead of always having it dangling down my neck. Almost like a hand strap.
This way I can ensure that my camera is always within my reach and it takes a lot of strain to the neck off me. It’s also much harder to steal since you’d have to cut my arm off to snatch it away without damaging it. Hope that won’t happen ( ;°Д°). Plus, I already have a camera bag over my shoulder so why do I need another strap around my neck?
I tend to do this when I’m either in a crowded place, shooting continuously or composing from a dangerous angle where the camera might fall down. But if it’s just about taking a snapshot then I sling it around my right shoulder while gently pushing forward for stability.
It took a lot of fiddling around to actually get the perfect wrapping technique and preferably I’d just use a shoulder strap but I don’t have that yet so this is the alternative for now.

… my camera’s got a tilty-swiftly screen thus the neck strap would just get in the way if I was to use it normally.

Whatever it is, put a sticker of a bitten, silver apple on it, quadruple the actual price and hipsters will love it! It truly is a masterpiece of engineering! *sarcasm*
No, I’m serious. The actual cost of making an IPhone is roughly 150€. They sell it for 600€ though. I’m not saying that it’s a bad piece of technology, you just get a lot less for what you actually pay for. That’s also why Apple has now been beaten by Samsung concerning smartphones (Look at the market share, it’s the truth).
